DECUB at the First DUT Knowledge Hub Meeting

DECUB at the First DUT Knowledge Hub Meeting

09-05-2025

On 8th May, we joined the first meeting of the Knowledge Hub (KH) within the European programme Driving Urban Transitions (DUT), focused on promoting circular urban economies.

The goal was to bring together experts from the various DUT-funded projects to share ideas, connect with each other, and start collaborating. The session also explained how the Knowledge Hub will work and what our role as project experts will be.

The project experts are the link between each project and the KH. This means sharing what we’re doing, learning from others, finding opportunities to collaborate, and taking part in key discussions about urban transformation.

The meeting introduced the 2022 and 2023 projects, grouped into three main themes:

  • Circular urban economy

  • Nature-based solutions

  • Urban food systems

To support innovation, the most promising ideas will be featured on the DUT website to give them visibility and help them scale or be replicated elsewhere. What matters is that they offer practical solutions with real impact on city life.

And what’s next? We’ll keep connecting with other projects, contributing to thematic groups, and sharing what we learn to help shape more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities.
